Updated Showers and Wifi

During the winter fixture break, we have undertaken significant work improving the showers and Wi-Fi at the club.

Whole Club

As part of the clubs constant effort to improve the facilities for our members, we have recently undertaken extensive infrastructure work to improve both the shower facilities as well as Wi-Fi coverage and connectivity across the club.

Showers

The entire shower system has been replaced with a much more reliable and energy efficient system. Both the ladies and gents showers have been upgraded with new shower heads and push button system.

The showers will maintain a consistent 42'c temperature with equal water pressure through all heads. We will also be installing a booster button outside each of the shower blocks where, should you wish to take a shower outside of the normal game times, you can simply push the button and hot water will be available within 4 minutes.

Wi-Fi

We have recently updated the club connection to super fast fibre. This has been laid by digging and then backfilling a trench along the hedge line of the front pitch to enable connection to the roadside exchange.

We have also moved from having only 2 Wi-Fi access points in the club (which was creating a lot of connectivity black holes) to 8 connection points which cover the whole clubhouse as well as across the front pitch.

When you visit the clubhouse, you may need to sign back into the 'Neston Club Members' Wi-fi. If you have any issues reconnecting just ask any member of staff.

Energy Costs

Along with many other businesses across the UK, we have seen a significant increase in our gas and electricity costs which will impact us over the next 12 months. Coming off the back of a very good 3 year fixed deal, 2023 will see our gas and electricity costs go up 3 fold (300%+ increase). We have invested where possible in energy saving systems such as moving towards 100% LED lighting and more efficient heating & hot water systems. We will continue to do this over the next year, identifying areas where we can save on energy wherever possible whilst ensuring it does not negatively impact the quality of the facility for our members.
