Under 11's Cricket Day
Bank Holiday Monday saw us host the Neston U11 Cricket Festival
We had 6 visiting teams, including teams travelling from Timperley and Bowdon and also 2 teams of our own. A Cage Cricket format was trialled on the Hockey Astro and this was a great success, keeping the players busy all day.
Syed Rashid and Mike Dalton have put in a tremendous amount of work to bring together the finale of a great season.
Breakfast Food and BBQ were served all day by Garni and the bar was open from 8.30am to close. The Sweet Stall organised by Zak Rashid sold out - no surprise!
The weather was kind to us and I believe there must have been more than 200 players, family and spectators there. What a wonderful day for Neston junior Cricket. Thank you to everyone involved, especially Syed and Mike.
