The Thursday Group

The Neston Club has a very active Thursday Group which have speakers and lunches as well as external trips to visit places of interest in the North West.

Meetings start at 2pm except for lunches and visits. Meetings are open to all Neston Club members and visitors are welcome when there is a speaker.

A charge of £2 for members and £4 for non-members is made at 'speaker' meetings. Tea/Coffee & biscuits are provided.

If meetings are cancelled due to bad weather or unforeseen circumstances, we will try and contact as many members as possible.

Every Thursday

During the summer months, members are invited to play bowls/ croquet (indoor games) on Thursday afternoons from 2pm (except the last Thursday of each month), or just come along about 3pm for a chat and coffee/tea.

Programme cards will be available at our lunch in January.

2 April - A Talk from Ian Bellard: A Tall Ship Voyage.
9 April - Games/ Social afternoon.
16 April - A Talk from David Mottram: Eastham's Victorian Pleasure Gardens.
23 April - Visit to Shotwick Village & Church.
30 April - No Meeting.

7 May - Afternoon Tea for Members.
14 May - Social/ Games afternoon.
21 May - Canal Trip: Christleton to Shady Pub, Beeston for Lunch.
28 May - Summer Games commence until Members' Lunch on 1 October.
