A look at what's been going on over the last few weeks from our SDO.
Golf
15 of us visited Prestatyn GC this week for our first outing of 2025. A fantastic course to play on for the first time and everyone seemed to really enjoy the day. Well done to Nick Morrison for winning overall and Paddy for getting nearest the pin! More outings will be released to put in the diary soon for April and May. Hockey
The men's hockey 1st team are a couple of games away from securing promotion to the Men's Conference North, not having lost a game this season and having a plus 79 goal difference as it stands. A fantastic achievement for them, the hockey section and the club.
Hockey summer league preparations are underway, looking at an early May start. Sign ups will be open soon to register for men's, ladies and mixed leagues.
Club Olympics Spring 2025, is going ahead on Sunday 20th April. Hockey, tennis and cricket, 8 a side mixed teams. Please sign up on the website if you would like to enter a team. £5pp or £40 per team.
Sports Camps
April camp bookings are now open and all information can be found on the website. All coaches are ready and excited for a fortnight of sport. Places will be booked up quickly, so please sign up early to not miss out!
