Neston Hockey Club Men's 1st Team

After Neston hockey’s success on the pitch in the 2024/25 season and securing their place into National League (which has not been achieved here for 30 years), the Men’s 1st team have now gone on to being named winners of England Hockey Men’s Team of the Year at the England Hockey Awards ceremony at The Athena in Leicester on June 7th, presented to coach Albert Marcano.

Overall, they played 22 matches, won 19, drawn 3, lost 0. They scored a huge total of 130 goals and only had 38 scored against them. Achieving them a total of 60 league points, 8 points clear of local rivals Bowdon Hockey Club, who pushed them all the way.

Next season they will be playing in Men's Conference North, which is Tier 3 of the England Hockey league system.
